Who is CAL Prep designed for?+

CAL Prep Learning Center supports students in grades 4-12 who may need to catch up, strengthen essential academic skills, or accelerate their learning. Every student receives a personalized lesson plan shaped around current needs and schedule.

Which subjects are included?+

Plans can include math, language arts, social studies, and science. Students in grades 7-8 and high school also have access to grade-appropriate electives.

How do lessons work?+

Students learn through pre-recorded lectures and focused practice organized within a personalized lesson plan, giving every study session a clear purpose.

Is the schedule flexible?+

Yes. CAL Prep is designed around independent study rather than one fixed meeting time, while the personalized plan preserves structure and direction.

How is tuition determined?+

Monthly tuition is based on grade band: $450 for grades 4-6, $650 for grades 7-8, and $850 for grades 9-12.

Are there additional fees?+

There is a one-time $250 diagnostic fee and a one-time $150 enrollment fee when a student enters the program.

What happens during the diagnostic?+

The diagnostic identifies the student's current skills and a practical starting point, helping shape the personalized learning plan.

Can a student focus on more than one subject?+

Yes. A plan may include multiple core subjects and, for eligible grades, electives based on the student's priorities and schedule.
